Maasdorp 1: Die meisies van Maasdorp (ePub) | Young Adult Fiction

Stella Blakemore

Die meisie van Maasdorpis the first introduction to the friends at Maasdorp school. We meet the impossible Kobie Malan, who enchants everybody with her golden curls and dimples. She leads the unruly grade nines who are flabbergasted to meet a new girl, Elsabe van den Heever. Elsabe has been living with her ancient aunt and her clothes and manner of speaking makes it quite obvious that she has not had contact with girls her own age! For the grade nines it is an absolute nightmare: Elsabe sounds funny, she dresses strangely and furthermore, it doesn’t look like she is going to take part in Kobie’s plans. These plans wreak havoc and soon the girls at Maasdorp realise that this is going to be a term they will never forget.
